When the flash disk / hard disk that often there is a virus usually akan autorun.inf file. Function of the autorun.inf if already infected by the virus of Flash disk / hard disk can not be open to normal when you do not delete the file.
For in it there is a command to run the virus program, when in the flash disk into the PC / Notebook that its autorun feature does not disable the on-Windows will automatically run the program in the background without any confirmation to the user. One way to reduce the risk of the virus is infected with mendisable autorun feature on the USB drive. If you want this happens you can use the following steps:
1. Click Start - Run.
2. Type gpedit.msc and press OK.
3. Click on the User Configuration - Administrative Templates - System.
4. 2x click on the Turn Off Autoplay.
5. Click on the Enable option.
6. At the option Turn off Autoplay on, select All drives.
7. Click OK.
8. Done.
Note: gpedit.msc system can run on Windows Xp or Windows Vista
